Two crews. One bank. Same day.

It’s 1982. When a small-time outfit from Brixton hit a London bank at the same time as a ruthless group of seasoned IRA paramilitaries, it’s a race against the clock, the cops and each other.

Joe Dalton has been an IRA man all his life. But now he wants out. He’s stranded in London with his small crew - the psychopathic Frankie, wanted for murder and terrorism, and the wild, teenaged revolutionary Bridie Magee, who dreams of being West Belfast’s first female Brigade Commander.

When Bridie gets chatting to Ash Reid, a seventeen year old boy from South London who helps his handyman dad out on odd jobs, she lets slip that her crew are planning to hit a big city bank. Ash’s father is still smarting from the Brixton riots and is deep in debt. His mum has left and bad people have started to come knocking. An idea begins to form in Ash’s head…

Meanwhile it turns out that there is far more to Dalton than meets the eye. He is an informer - and thus committing the cardinal sin in the eyes of the IRA, punishable by far worse than death. This bank job is a set up to put Frankie behind bars for good - in return for immunity and witness protection.

What ensues is a fast-paced, high adrenaline game of cat and mouse; it’s an unlikely clash between underdogs over the scraps left by the powers that be.

Caught in the middle of it all are Ash and Bridie... And one thing quickly becomes painfully clear: no matter how much they like each other, in this race, there can only be one winner.
